Rihanna wowed the crowds at the 2014 Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards (CFDA) Awards in New York, where she walked the red carpet in a see-through gown.
RiRi, who was honored at Monday's gala with the Fashion Icon of the Year award, wore a custom Adam Selman sheer gown that was encrusted with 216,000 Swarovski crystals. Selman has been creating costumes and outfits for the pop star since 2011. But it's what she didn't leave to the imagination that will really set tongues wagging.
American Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour presented the Barbados-born star with the award. "I can compensate for all of my weaknesses with fashion," the artist said during her acceptance speech. "Fashion should never be frustrating, it should be fun."
