Billionaire businessmen Chris Kirubi has called on President Uhuru to declare a state of emergency, in the aftermath of the Mpeketoni attacks that left over 70 dead on Sunday and Monday nights.
Writing on Facebook yesterday, Kirubi said that the security
situation is so grave and all those inciting and causing confusion are
not helping the situation. He added that Kenya cannot be allowed to go
the Middle East way.
Here’s his post.Dear Mr. President, the security situation is so grave and all those inciting and causing confusion are not helping the situation. We cannot allow things to happen like we are in the Middle East. Kenya is the cream of East Africa and it is time you declared a state of emergency to sober everybody in this nation. The strong arm of the law in this country must be felt. Please do not waste any time…Save our country! cc. Uhuru Kenyatta
Do you agree that a state of emergency is the way to go?
