If there’s one neighour totally rejoicing Kenya’s frequent terror attacks, it has to be Zimbabwe… or at least the guy running their ruling party’s Twitter account.
Yesterday, the account posted a series of tweets all but rejoicing Kenya’s situation. They went as far as referring to us as a war zone.
“Kenyans should be honest about the situation. It would be reckless to encourage tourists to go into a war zone.” read one tweet.
Another tweet read, “White people of lots of money wanting to visit Africa, don’t risk your life in Kenya- come to Zimbabwe for a safe holiday.”
It’s not clear whether that’s the official position of the government, but that would be doubtful.
Here are some of the other tweets.

It is very sad that it is no longer safe to go on holiday 2Kenya. While they fix their problems - consider visiting Zimbabwe the paradise.

UPDATE: We have since established that @zanu_pf is a fake account. Reports from Zimbabwean media say that the government is after the guy running the account. The official ZANU PF account is @ZANUPF_Official.
